2010 Tasters Guild Awards
Tasters Guild International, a Wine and Food Appreciation Society based in Grand Rapids, Michigan with administrative offices in Washington D.C., has announced the results of its Twenty-Third Annual International Wine Judging held at the Secchia Institute for Culinary Education in Grand Rapids. Thirty experienced judges from around the country completed over 2,200 evaluations of wine from 10 countries and 32 states/provinces on April 28-May 1. The judging panels were comprised of a carefully selected mix of retailers, winemakers, wine writers, restaurateurs and experienced consumers. Fiore winery of Harford county Maryland brought home six awards including Gold medals for their 2008 Vidal Blanc, 2008 Pinot Grigio and a Silver medal for their 2005 Chambourcin.

2009 Tasters Guild Awards
Tasters Guild International Wine Competition 2009 held in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Forty experienced judges from around the country completed over 2,100 evaluations of wine from 36 states/provinces and 13 countries on April 29-May 2, 2009. Fiore Winery won a Gold medal for their 2007 Maryland Merlot and a Silver Medals for their 2007 Pinot Grigio and 2007 Caronte.

Fiore Winery to be featured on "Maryland Living"
On Sunday morning at 9am, July 29 2008 Fiore Winery was featured on the television Show "Maryland Living" on ABC 2, the show is hosted by popular radio and television personality Steve Rouse. Steve interviewed Mike Fiore as they strolled through the vineyard, then they came inside to tour the operation and taste some wines.....be sure to set your VCR or DVR the segment should be a lot of fun and educational


Fiore Malvasia Gelata wins Double Gold 2008 Taster's Guild International !
Over 2,000 wines from 15 countries and 35 states/provinces were evaluated by 36 judges from around the country on April 30 - May 3, 2008. The judging panels were comprised of a mix of retailers, winemakers, wine writers, restaurateurs and experienced consumers. Fiore winery brought home 9 medals with the Fiore Malvasia Gelata dessert wine leading the pack with Double Gold honors (A Double Gold means unanimous gold from all 36 judges). The Peach Floret,Proprietor's Reserve Chambourcin, Maryland Merlot, Vidal Blanc and Scarlette were awarded Silver medals. Bronze medals were brought home by the Blush of Bel Air, L'Ombra and Pinot Grigio.

The 2006 Sangiovese has been bottled and is now available at the winery. This has been one of the most anticipated new arivals after being tasted at last years "Barrel Tasting". At this time the Sangiovese is only available at the winery.Sangiovese

Also just in time for your New Years celebration our first Sparkling wine the Fiore Prosecco is now also available at the winery.Prosecco

Also coming soon Fiore Pinot Grigio. Made with Maryland grow Pinot Grigio, this is sure to be another great addition to the Fiore line of wines

Six of Six Medals Won at Taster's Guild International !
Fiore entered six wines into the Taster's Guild International which had nearly 1800 wines entered this year. We won six out of six! Including a Double Gold for the 2004 Proprietors Reserve Chambourcin. Gold for the 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon, Silver for the 2004 Maryland Merlot and Riesling. Bronze for the 2005 Vidal Blanc and 2004 Cabernet Franc. Make sure you try each of these great wines.
